Policy Area Culture – Culture & creative sectors & Horizontal Action Spatial Planning – Encouraging the use of maritime and land-based spatial planning in all Member States around the Baltic Sea and develop a common approach for cross-border cooperation

The main project idea aims at filling the current gap in the pan-BSR Maritime Spatial Planning (MSP) policy and in the governance system by developing and integrating issues relevant to Maritime Cultural Heritage -management into MSP policies on a pan-Baltic scale. The project focuses on policies, management and decision-making processes. To this end the main project will develop and test good practice for shared information systems on the regional level resulting in guidelines & recommendations. The seed money phase will be used to do research on the MSP dimension in Maritime Cultural Heritage –management.
