HA Neighbours – To increase the co-operation with neighbouring countries to tackle joint challenges in the Baltic Sea region

The modern labour market in many countries suffers from a range of problems related to both lack of qualified personnel and insufficient competence of already available labour force. The rapidly developing economy of the Baltic Sea Region sets high requirements on professional qualification. The main project will aim at establishing networking structures between the partners from the EU Member States and Russia in order to realise a fostered implementation of mobility, aiming to involve different target groups. The main project will specifically focus on the development of transnational mobility in vocational education. Opening the labour markets within the Baltic Sea Region, the prevention of skill shortage and increasing the skills of workers will result in more flexibility and improve the global competitiveness of the Region.
