#S35 Chemical risk assessment, management and recovery of the most commonly transported chemicals in the Baltic Sea (CHEMARE)

PA Safe – To become a leading region in maritime safety and security

The focus of the CHEMARE main project is on risk management of maritime chemical transport in the Baltic Sea by constructing scenarios for hypothetical spills, and assessing the possible effects of and plausible recovery options for chemical spills. The main project aims at improving connections within the Baltic Sea Region by improving risk management actions related to maritime chemical and HNS (i.e. noxious or hazardous substances) accidents. During the implementation of the project, special attention is paid to knowledge transfer.
